Derek looks up from his seat across the room from the teen. He flips another page of the encyclopedia in his lap (“Really, an encyclopedia is your choice reading material? Did you grow up in some sort of Puritan cult?”), clearly unamused by Stiles’ hysterics.

Fuck, it’s gonna happen.

My parents and I had this whole discussion about alcohol preferences (because they grew up chugging, cheap Midwestern beer, where as me and most of our friends prefer hard liquor and mixers) and how it’s all kind of a generational and socio-economic symbol.

Basically what I’m saying is, once I’m out of my parents’ sheltered financial harbor, I’m personally set with livin’ off this year’s birthday stash and PBR without guilt.
